A few nights ago I had a friend for dinner and she was telling me how OCD has been affecting her life since the eighth grade. Her behaviour consists of always having things perfectly neat and lined up, when her friends come over and move anything in her room out of her symmetrical alignment it triggers her anxiety and she immediately feels stricken with panic, this had led her to finally talk to each of her friends individually expressing how she feels and her OCD. Her friends are very supportive and are happy that she has told them all about her OCD and anxiety. Symptoms of OCD:

Even though the person can possibly recognize that the behaviour or obsessive thoughts don’t make any logical sense they still perform their rules or rituals, some take up to hours a day and can considerably interfere with a person’s life.
