Hip Replacement Lawsuits Move Ahead
Thousands of lawsuits have been filed against Johnson & Johnson regarding their DePuy hip replacement that used defective implants. Right now, a multi district litigation is on the move to take care of the huge number of lawsuits filed.
This situation has occurred after a lot of patients who used their hip implants reported a lot of complications that are making them suffer and damaging their health. Then, these hip implants were recalled after because a lot were in need of a hip revision surgery. This kind of case should have happened fifteen years after. Since it happened in only a span of five years, the manufacturer is being held responsible which is only right. This manufacturer should give the affected compensation for the complications they have experience which would be taken care of by the lawsuits filed.
